Pacific Highway Upgrade - Oxley Highway to Kempsey
37km upgrade of the Pacific Highway from single to dual carriageways including construction of new bridges, soft soil treatments and retaining walls. The project experienced earthworks balance issues, contained significant lengths of road construction over flood plains, soft soils, acid rock, major bridge construction and complex interchanges. The challenge was to provide a cost-efficient design that could be safely constructed.
